Poisoned Apples, Part II: The Iron Hand - A Metahumans Rising Adventure

Following the revelation of the Brotherhood in Poisoned Apples: Who Let the Dog Out, The masks are off as the Iron Hand explores the depth of the corruption, and what's required to expose the powers behind the Brotherhood.

A Sequel? This adventure gives options for a direct follow up to Who Let the Dog Out, and if time has passed. 

Pricing: Poisoned Apples II: The Iron Hand was originally published as a Patreon exclusive. With the completion of the Steel Aces comic, the Patreon was retired. However, we wanted to continue to offer this second adventure to our fans. To respect our Patrons, and the what was intended to be exclusive content, we have set a minimum price of 2 USD, this was the base tier of the Patreon.

More so, there are asymmetrical acts of violence against innocent people, and events inspired by recent real world tragedies. Be aware that in no way do we condone or approve of the acts of violence portrayed by the hate groups within this adventure, much less the real world. GMs should review their campaign’s Lines and Veils while considering this adventure. 

Allegories In Comics & Campaigns 

Comics have used people with powers as a stand in for people of a given minority. X-Men was inspired by the Civil Rights movement, and is rooted in the fight for equality. In campaigns where topics like racism are veiled it may be worth discussing using mutants as an allegory for this topic. Through the course of this adventure, GMs can swap minority characters with mutants.

Metahumans Rising One Shots

Starting in December 2019, House Dok Productions began releasing free adventure for Metahumans Rising on their website.  These  one shot adventures are designed for a single game session (about 3 to 5 hours) and can be injected into most modern day superhero campaigns.  Updated and formatted for PDF,  we hope you enjoy the adventure!
