Spotlight: Changeling's Bargain - Included in the TTRPGs for Trans Rights - West Virginia Bundle

This adventure is special to me. It focuses on heroes investigating a company that claims they can "fix" Metahuman children. It was directly inspired by conversion therapy. It is also directly inspired by the X-Men, and may be our most X-Men style adventure to date.

Through the course of the story, the heroes speak to parents where the process has divided the family, intervene when radicals being protesting and harassing students at a local school. Then delve into the truth behind this supposed cure... as things get wild moving towards the adventure's climax.

Writing this adventure was particularly difficult because we wanted to make to make the danger real, not just mechanically, but also with how the treatment was framed, and arguments for "curing" Metahumans. The adventure includes a collection of references at the end of story for anyone who wants to look under the hood.
